ATTENDANCE

The school is required to keep detailed record of children’s absences. ‘Unauthorized absence’ is recorded in the registered in the register when teachers are not informed of the reason for a child’s absence . In case of pupil absence parents are requested to telephone school on the first day and to supply a written note on the child’s return to school.

 (80% attendance is compulsory for every student.)

Please note that poor attendance can evoke prosecution by the Education Investigation Service.

JEWELLERY

A small watch may be worn, thought the wearing of jewellery in school by pupils is actively discouraged due to health and safety issues. Where a girl child has Pierced ears, only studs are allowed.

Children are not allowed to wear makeup of any sort including nail varnish

Children are not allowed to have mobile phones in school

HEAD LICE

Please help us to keep our school a ‘NIT FREE ZONE’.By checking your child’s hair at least twice weekly. Keeping your child’s hair tied back also helps tremendously. Thank you for your support for this.

PERSONAL PROPERTY

The school cannot accept responsibility for any personal item lost or stolen from school. Please discourage your child from bringing personal belongings to school unless it is at the specific.Please ensure that your child’s name is on all items of uniform.

BEHAVIOUR

The School Policy Document on Behaviour sets out quite clearly what the school believes in with regard to behaviour, together with the procedures for bringing this about. Copies of this document are available on request.
In the event of very serious breach of school rules than the Head teacher can temporarily exclude the child from 1 to 45 days in any school year. More information will be given to you about this if the situation occure.
